HK sub retrofit?

Post by Z3cade »

Does anyone know would it be possible to fit the HK Center subwoofer compartment to my standard setup in my M??
All I would need is the speaker compartment as I could run the speaker from my amp..

Think it be possible??

It isn't a compartment as such, the HK sub is a complete unit.

Makes me think probably a custom made enclosure like yours is the way to go.. Is it a sealed enclosure do you know?

These are the alternate parts for the storage box - the catch and front compartment go and are replaced by a grille and bracket to hold the lid:

The sub-woofer itself seems to be one unit, and then has a "snorkel" attached:

Yes, quite sturdy and sounds good for such a small sub
