HK Sub retrofit

Post by martyb »

As in the title im contemplating putting the harmon kardon sub in place.

I have seen ebay listing for the varied blacktrim with speaker cover and also for the sub in the casing itself.

Looking for someone whos either done this or has experimented with theres to help me out.

Does the sub have a built in amp or will i need to buy one aswell?

Is it a simple install running cables underneath the middle trim up to the head unit on the console?

Will any modifications be needed to put the sub into place or will it fit on the correct trim and storage box part?

Thanks fowks

Hi can't help with the fitment, although I do have the parts required for the sound system

I don't have the storage box side of things anymore, that is sold.

Happy to take a decent offer for the above (was asking £200 for the lot).

You can see it in place in my 'how to' guide on removing roll hoops
