Morning Jonty,

Yeah, was looking at this yesterday. From memory same guy was selling a topz blue hardtop.

I'm still on the lookout for a hardtop but it would have to be OGII.

I might be waiting a while methinks.....

I reckon you'll have a very long wait on your hands there Conor. Be better off getting a good top and getting it resprayed. You could be waiting forever.

No mate. To be honest I'm not that fussed about hardtops. I've had a couple of zeds now (2.8 and now the ///M) and used both of them through the winter and IMHO too much is made of needing a hardtop. Some soft-tops look all wrong with a hardtop fitted, although Z3s aren't one of them, and I would have nowhere to store it without risk of damage. Each to their own but I just can't see that I would get enough use to justify the hassle and expense.

Thats exactly why I am looking one in body colour - to cut down on expense.

But you're still looking at the best part of £1000 if you include the fitting kit (which for some reason people nearly always leave on the car), so for me it's £1000 too far. Best of luck with your search though and if I spot one I'll post it up just in case you miss it.
