WOW and indeed WOW!

What brought that on (other than a lottery win)?

I wish! No lottery wins but a bit of help from MB Finance and a 'to hell with it' attitude.

You only live once, the Z3 is a lovely example but as is the way with having the same car twice, it is never as good second time around hence the change of heart.

I would be sad to see the Z3 get PX'd and someone to miss out on what must be a bargain (assuming you like Siena).

Z4M was a close contender mind you, although believe it or not the SLK is an insurance group lower! (Not that it makes much difference at age 34)

No takers?

I guess people come on here after buying a Z3, generally.

Think the price might be a bit high, based on the fact that I sold a similar car last October with under 40,000 miles for £6250. via Pistonheads.

I'd say that's a great price, such a nice car with a particularly rare colour/spec! 8-)

They can be quite a bit cheaper out of season, that is convertibles for you I guess.

I will put 12 months MoT on it once it stops raining this week and amend the advert accordingly.

Car is now freshly MoT'd

Passed with no advisories and the tester commented on what a well looked after vehicle it is.

I think you are right! Also I suspect the amount of people after an Auto is lower than those after a manual :?

Very nice-n-tidy looking car there though.

Thanks Phil.

I hope the 3 pointed star is an acceptable form of transport.

I will post up some pics of the SLK when I get it, hopefully should be listening to my very own V8 rumble by this time next week.

John, good luck with the SLK55AMG, I used to have one (old shape when they first came out). The new one looks fantastic but I could never get my head around the mercedes auto gearbox in a car like this, its criminal really that there is no manual option. Mercedes let me have a new shape one for a weekend last year when I was looking for a convertable (I hadn't had one for 5 years and really wanted some top down motoring) but the auto box still turned me off. I ended up getting my fix with an ///M as a 2nd car as it ticked all the boxes.

I must be getting old and lazy, I wanted an automatic gearbox  still, the 7g Tronic is pretty good.

Here are some pics of the car I put a deposit on today, it has the performance pack (hence the wheels). I am told that it is delimited as part of this option pack  not that I am likely to ever find out.
