Post by Jonttt »

Saw this on eBay

How has he fitted 20 inchers on a lowered car

Too OTT for me but not bad for a pimped out 1.9 :D

I agree with Gio. And the wheels may be a bit big but the design does suit the car IMHO. :)

Not my idea of a good look. However, everyone to their own.

I do like his comment: "Absolute mint 1 of headturner!!"

Whatever that means. Do you have to rearrange the words to make your own sentence?

I notice only a 'slight' crack in rear window! Car sales talk for 'needs new rear window'!

...like 'slight break in leg'!

I'm intrigued by the detachable towbar.

Anyone else got something similar?

I'm interested in the tilt steering wheel feature as I would like that for my M. I wonder if he has any inner arches left with the lowering and 20" wheels??? Nice effort with that bit though.

I was half wondering if this is what had happened to benelvin's old car, but his was a 2.0, not a 1.9. His was also Topaz and he had fitted a towbar to tow his boat. There are some pics of it on here somewhere, but I'm afraid a lot of them are no longer on the interweb.

Cheers R.

They're super narrow though 225 allround with very low profile tyres so probably not as bad as they sound for clearance.

I like his Brembo caliper covers :D

Just what I thought. :( Looks nice though, except for spoiler. Price doesn't seem bad either.

I also like the steering wheel, is that standard? I have a 'Sport' with the 'M Tech' wheel (thats what I think its called) and prefer the one shown.

I really like it! Mine's on 17's at 245 so 20's at 225 aren't the biggest leap in the world. The door build for the stereo is a bit much but I like the sub box he's got (because its the same as mine!) and the boot build is excellent, but would have made his boot shallower.

I'm quite impressed with what he's fone. Although hell be lucky to get the £5500 But it now price as we all know mods are very personal.

BTW, don't 'diss' the beige! Some of us can't help having the baby sick interior! I'm desperately trying to find a gloos black interior plastics pack, to liven up the dash a bit. I've seen the ebay fellow who does the colourful ones but none in gloss black last time I looked. Any ideas?

You want satin black for dash parts IMO.

It looks awful to me as the wheels are sitting right at the back.

I've seen worse!

The worse part is the all biege interior, but I guess it could always be changed to something on the lines of

You can see the real caliper sticking out the back lol

I like the steering wheel though, its got some good bits to it definately...

Afraid I'm not keen on it, kinda bordering on drug dealer medallion man look at meeeee lol. I think any wheels over 18 inches on a small bodied car just look ridiculous and what are those things that have attached themselves too the sills? Will probably be a good buy under all the trinkets. At least its nice and shiny 8-)

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..
