Skoda Octavia vRS TSi DSG on Tour at Rocamadour
Quote from eBay ad;
for sale is my bmw z3 roadster 2.0 straight 6 cylinder (awesome sound like no other)
And I bet it sounds just like a straight six BMW (just like any other 2.0).
Dodgy Grammar, Poor Punctuation in the thread and a lack of capitals in the eBay listing.
Must be something to do with the keyboard!!

A massive overprice I'm thinking, sorry to the OP!
Mileage and condition are indeed lovely, but there is an ///M for sale on here for that price

So according if the car has zero miles on it its worth what it was new !! I don't think so. Mileage is only one facter in pricing

Re: price
I think you may be wrong there. If a car was brought and put away unused somebody somewhere would pay the price it was new just to get it. I have seen this happen with a Sunbeam Lotus which sold for more than it was new.si-forks wrote:So according if the car has zero miles on it its worth what it was new !! I don't think so. Re: price
Are you sure about that? What about the cost to replace everything thats rotted/perished/seized due to not being used for 10-15 years?Geoff H wrote:I think you may be wrong there. Re: price
A 10 year old car with 14k miles isn't THAT special. Keep it another 10 years and don't increase the mileage and it'll shoot up in value - there is a 1972 1.6l Capri at Beaulieu that has 40k miles and I bet it'd fetch way more than the £800 it cost new. Likewise ordinary 1.3l Mk 1 Escorts are going for £4000 just because there aren't many left. I could well believe a Sunbeam Lotus would go for mega money if you found a new one.XVar wrote:Are you sure about that? You never know - there may be someone wanting a genuine low mileage example and be willing to pay for that. Hope you don't need the money in a hurry though.....
