*SOLD*-Z3M Roadster - 41k, Estoril Blue, Full Black Leather

Post by Rob56 »

SOLD
Sold today, thanks for all the help everyone!

Hi guys, I know it's my first post and I've not really contributed anything to the forum but hopefully you can see the logic in deciding to advertise the car here before autotrader, I've posted over on the .org site as well and had some positive feedback and I'd prefer the car went to someone who can appreciate it rather than just getting sold on for a premium by a dealer, hopefully no one is too offended :S

1998 Z3M Roaster, S50 Engined 3.2 litre Version - Estoril Blue with full Black Leather Interior

41k Miles covered with a fully stamped service book up to last service at 34k by BMW dealers & specialists.
(Breakdown of services available on request-pictures of service book)

In very good condition with only two previous owners, lived most of its life on the Isle of Man as a weekend car.
Comes complete with 5 months Tax and 11 months MOT.

Recently had a refurbished soft top and vanos unit and a crack free boot floor mean it suffers from none of the typical Z3M niggles that I’ve read about.

Only modification from standard is a Sony MP3 Radio with ipod connection.

Reason for sale is due to my dad having a knee operation and switching to an Automatic car, he asked me to advertise on the net on his behalf.

Looking for £8500 ono

More than happy to arrange viewings so people can have a look/chat, the car is currently in Shropshire but I might bring it down to my place in London if there is enough interest down South to warrant selling here.

Feel free to get in touch with any questions or request for pictures

Rob

Great looking car, Rob, and a couple of months ago when I was looking I'd certainly have wanted to see it.
For info, compared to the half dozen or so that I did look at before I bought mine, I'd say that yours has the right combination of lowest mileage with a well documented history and what appears to be super condition.
Good luck with the sale, and I hope you get close to that £8500.

Nice standard car, I wouldn't take any less than 8500.

Worth more IMHO.

Oooooo.... I bet that car LOVED it over there!
Both my Zeds had great holidays in IOM.

Looks like a great car at a really good price. Definitely priced to sell, so someone should snap that up quick.... 8-)

GLWTS.

I've added a little walk around video for anyone interested, might have to do an on the road one eventually to prove she actually drives:

Price is also now dropped to £8150 and will be in the Autotrader this week :)

Thanks Rob, will be in touch.

Can these be insured on a classic policy as a second /weekend car?

Yes, they can. In fact there's a thread about it currently in the Z3 Roadster section with some recommendations.

Against my advice on instruction from my Dad he's asked me to lower the price to £7500.
I think he's crazy but the car is literally just taking up garage space now which he needs.
If it doesn't go at this price I'll be shocked!

Hi Rob,

I was looking for an S54 version (2001-2002) but they are hard to come by. You mentioned living near London and I live just north of London on the M11 (next to Stansted airport).
I have just sold my car so now in the market with cash waiting - is there a way to view the car in or around London? Chances are that if the car checks out I will take it.
Assuming HPI clear, good (evidential) service history, good condition etc.

My email is: memerson1978@gmail.com - feel free to drop em an email.

Best regards,
Mark
