I need help identifying the color of the Z3 hardtop. It's not Imola Red. It's either Bright Red I or Bright Red II
Part # 8410480
Serial # 9721664

Each hard top colour is listed as a separate hard top part number under Realom.com but I can't find that part number you quote - http://www.realoem.com/bmw/index.do

Looks like some of the accessories and retrofittings have been removed from the parts catalogue. BMWFans still has a 2009 version online and the hardtops are listed here: http://2009.bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/ ... t_hardtop/

I'm afraid I can't see that part number listed. Where did you find it? It might not be the BMW part number for the hardtop.

Cheers R.

Hi,
Do you have a good quality paint supplier near you?
If so,take the hard top, or your car if you want to match that colour and they should have a scanner that they can put on a flat area of your paint and they will tell you what colour the hardtop is. They can also tell you what percentage of pigment has escaped over time and adjust the mix if you wish.
Regards
John.
