1. You get excited when it's cold outside.
2. You fill up every three days.
3. The size of your grin is directly proportional to the amount of boost you’re on.

I bought a set of these things (from AKG in the US) about 12 months ago, but sent them back, because when I properly examined them, I couldn't see how these things will maintain their settings over the longer term, bearing in mind the forces involved.

Instead, I fitted the Ireland Engineering adjustable caster and camber brackets to the subframe as found here:

IMO this is a far better solution, although a much more difficult installation, because the eccentric washer heads and washers lock into the bolt and the bolt needs to be rotated for the camber/caster position to be adjusted. Therefore, any change is impossible unless you do this with a spanner. I've been runnning with almost zero rear camber and zero toe for the past 12 months and the photo below shows one of my old tyres from the O/S, a Falken 451 size 265 besides the new Falken 452 size 285 which has recently replaced it. The Falken 451 tyres were heavily worn on the inner edges before I fitted the camber/caster brackets and the even tyre wear acroos the full width, shows how running with minimal negative camber equalises wear across the full tyre width, thus improving the contact patch and improving rear grip.

Well, here's to resurrecting a very old thread.

I'm getting very bored of constantly feeding my car tyres due to the excessive rear camber.

I need an adjustable or improved toe in kit.

Anyone done this recently?

Thanks

Bite the bullet and get IE's camber and toe brackets fitted.

The wear on my rear tyres is so even across the 285mm width and the roadholding is superb because I get an excellent contact patch.

Thanks Exodus and TopFuelKing (a while ago!)

The welding option seems quite extreme but tempting and the description from http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp sounds good to me. $250 seems a fair price if they save my tyres!

Optimize rear camber to maximize performance or tire wear. Bavarian Autosport's adjustable rear camber correction kit lets you fine-tune camber to suit your purpose, whether it's better handling at the track or prolonging the life of your rear tires--especially important if you have lowered you BMW's chassis or installed 'plus size' wheels. Kit comes with a handy tool for installation and removal of bushings.
"

I shall start investigating further

The welding option is the best option though.

Personally, I think that the correction of toe (zero toe angle best) is more important than camber.
