Rear Spring Pads

Any part numbers for the 5mm pads and are they the smallest you can get?

Hmmm that's interesting... I wish my rear could be highered up a few mm so maybe 10mm pads maybe in order

Is 10mm the thickest ?

10mm is the thickest size, so should give you 5mm lift

Sounds good.. I think I'll be going to BMW Monday and ordering a pair of 10mm

As mines been lowered 30mm it sometimes catches the exhaust so 5-10mm lift would be ideal!

I've doubled up spring pads before, from memory the top pads are easier to doulbe up as it incorporates a bump stop which you cut out of the 2nd pad so it fits over. On the bottom spring padthere isn't enough height on the locating part to double up.

Just want to thank you guys for raising this topic so timeously!!! My springs are being changed on the 27th, and as a result of this topic, I checked out the "pad" requirements on real OEM. Since these have never been changed since production, I figure it will be a cheap and wise idea to do a new replacement of these while the springs are being done anyhow.
