Has anyone here actually used this product, and if so, what's your take on it?

It was used on Wheeler Dealers in a car that was overheating as it was cheaper than upgrading the coolant system.

You NEED to use the Evans waterless flush before using the coolant. This means that it will cost around £100 to convert to Evans, compared to £25 every two years.

It is very expensive and I think it is only worth it for museums with cars that are used once or twice a year (Jay Leno uses it in his cars). If you use the car regularly, you run the risk of leaks and general maintainance of the coolant system (thermostat, water pump, radiator, hoses, etc.). Glycol-based coolant is cheap as chips if it leaks, but Evans is a serious hit in the pocket.

It does have some advantages...

It has a higher boiling point than normal coolant.
It is maintenance-free and doesn't need to be replaced every two years.

I looked into it when it was on Wheeler Dealers and there is some good info on their website.
