Before the board went down over Xmas, someone mentioned a product called Autosock. It consists of a fabric cover that is placed over the two driving wheels of a car to get additional grip in the snow.
It is a Norwegian product and the website makes it look very convincing!

Does anyone have experience with these? If they work as they say, then they could be very useful to keep in the boot. I haven't tried my Z3 in snow yet, but judging by previous experience with BMWs it could be a bit of a challange!
