old stock
just to let you know that the latest f1 goodyear tyre is the gsd3 pattern and not the gsd2 both are directional's but i have seen a few places still fitting the gsd2's
Re: old stock
Interesting....do you know whether they have any Bridgestone SO2's floating around - I'd be very interested in them!!James (M 20UPE) wrote:but i have seen a few places still fitting the gsd2's
The 2 main differences between the 2 and the 3 are:
1. GSD3 tread pattern is a little more efficient when it comes to moving large amounts of water. On an averagely wet road then the difference is negligable
2. The GSD3 uses a harder compound. This means better tyre wear but have less grip, especially in the winter as they take a long time to warm up.
I spent ages trying to find GSD2's when i needed new boots but couldn't find a whole set. Probably the best tyres I've ever had.
