Z3 2.8 Widebody

Post by zedranger »

hi, I have a 1999 2.8 widebody Z3 and wanted to put some bigger wheels on it. I have found the following wheels

BMW STYLING 32

front are 8 X 17 ET 20

rear are 9 X 17 ET 26

these are most likely 5-series alloys, due to low offset

They might be just right for your Z3, as it is the widebody version?

will these go on the car without scrapping on the body?

The offset is too low and will result in the wheels being proud of the arches. On the 2.8 it won't be too bad on the rear as with standard off set of 38 some use spacers. The front will stick out too far.

Front will stick out by around 15mm.
