HDD recorder has been set since Monday!

If it's likely to stay in the same place, I'll set it to record each week. Dunno what it is at the moment, but they keep p'ing about with the schedules and nothing other than soaps and the news are on at the same time each week!

Fifth Gear will be as pleased as any of us as they're running out of old Top Gear stunts to copy.

Somebody torch that fcuking cafe and make sure the new blokes in it.

5th gear is so amatuerish. As for the bearded blunder. He'd be better suited on a programme reviewing women's dresses.

Agreed, they lost it when they changed the format. Will be opening a brand new Betamax cassette for Sunday.

It will be repeated a second time on BBC 3 at 19:00 on Sat 3 Feb.

The next programme in the series will be BBC2 at 20:00 on Sun 3 Feb, repeated BBC2 at 19:00 on Wed 7 Feb.

The shows website is http://www.bbc.co.uk/topgear. You can watch some clips of the show on there.

Tonight's show was a disgrace. The BBC spent license money to send these three to another country to offend as many people as they could? This isn't a motoring show any more. Auto Mundial (good show) or God forbid Fifth Gear have more class than this lot. This show needs to get back on topic, even if that means only having a 30 minute show. Either that or they need to axe it. It's not a patch on what it used to be, instead relying on cheap gags (or expensive in this case), or pointless chats with special guests to fill the hour.

It wasn't that bad, okay, not quite a motoring show but better than last week. It seems the hamster isn't really back up to speed so they are filling in as best they can.

If we want classic top gear we can always watch UK TV2 or whatever it is and they show wall to wall top gear repeats.

Nobody shot at James May! :bawl:

Daft, not particularly informative, but at least it was reasonably entertaining - just what I needed for winding down on a Sunday evening.

Personally thought that last night's episode was very funny.....it probably appealed to me more as I don't get all that excited with endless pics 'under the bonnet' or having to know all the specs.....I appreciate why it wouldn't have appealed to the real car buff as there wasn't much about cars in it but it was still much better than anything else on at the time last night.....

You have to allign your expectation with Top Gear now, it's not really about cars in a technical sense any more - more like Last of the Summer Wine on four wheels!

You really need to start viewing it as entertainment and I thought last Sundays American Road trip was absolutely hilarious. I haven't laughed at a genuine comedy on the BBC as much as I did with Top Gear that night.

It's a great show, just took a while to get used to.

Just got round to watching the last episode, and all I can say is HILARIOUS! :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
If you didn't find that funny, well your in need of some humour therapy
It was a special episode after all and I'd rather my license money go towards funding Top Gear than the likes of Eastenders.

Great TV tonight, for me one of the best for a long time... :bow
I was so hoping the Pig would fly along with others I'm sure, I was gutted to see it fail, just to of miffed JC.

997 Turbo was a short but sweet article, tested on road for a change- good old days rather than tyre smoke on the track...
Shame the Stig never took it around the track, interesting to see how it would do.
JC comments were surprising to say the least! He almost liked it... his face gave away more than his words....

It ought to be, but looking at the Sky website, you'd be hard pushed to know if you could get any BBC channels at all! :head:

It is listed under Free-To-Air Channels (sky.com)

I had to look as I don't have Sky - I have Freeview.
