For all you roadsters out there.
The sun is finally shining and it's time for open-top motoring.
So the simple question is:
When roof is down, do you tend to have your windows down (extrovert ) or windows up (introvert ) when cruising??
I tend to cruise with windows up afraid to say, stops the ruffled hair look by the time I get to work

Speed dependent, really. And temperature. But if it's a nice warm sunny day, and I'm below 60MPH, I not only have the windows down, but also the doors!

Windows most definately down.
For me it finalises the look and feel of having a REAL roadster.
(not a plastic one like and MG or MX-5 )
I must ask as well, doesn't the feeling when you turn round and look over your left shoulder and see nothing but the big wide world looking in on you feel fantastic?
No back seat. the back of the car feeling likes it drops away from you just after your own seat?
How I truly love my Zimmer

Re: so how does that work?
http://www.bmwz1.co.uk/ has some good info and pics. You press a button and the doors just drop into the side of the car. It might seem gimmicky, but I know that it's just such a lovely feeling on a sunny day to blat around almost like you're on a bike.bmwstuff wrote:so how does that work?spokey wrote:Speed dependent, really. Not sure if it has any positive impact on structural rigidity, I suspect it might.
