Lights out in London

Post by Alfie »

Well, today is the longest day....

http://www.lightsoutlondon.com/home.asp

So obviously, being a good citizen, I'll be turning out all my lights.

But it'll be pretty boring sitting at home in the dark, so I'll probably go out for a completely gratuitous mad blatt in my gas-guzzling, big-engined, carbon-magnificent sports car..... :D

And I wonder how many brainwashed thickos will be driving their cars with no lights on??? :roflmao:

A.

ps: This is meant as a light hearted jibe. Please don't turn it into yet another argument about man's contribution to global warming!

How much is the road tax for a Z3 ///M?

£180 for my 2.0 Z3. :head:

Got to get mine this month.
It's gone up YET AGAIN to £205.

PVRs is a recent new car, (ie: registered after April 2006) so sits very comfortably in Brown's hand-rubbingly extortionate top band.

2.0 vs ///M = Not much of an increase over mine. Surprised at that. Thought it would have been substantially more.

Yep, been humming that tune all day!

I was gonna put in a reference to it but I figured no one would get it.

Not only is this a pointless exercise likely to get the green-party halfwits creaming their jhodpurs about half baked green plans based on shakey 'scientific evidence' on global warming, it does make for an excellent photo oportunity, as the sun will be setting.

I wish I was in London tonight.

Iam glad I don't work for the Electricity suppliers when a whole city switches on every appliance they have at the same time. :?
