It's an advert for the A4 not the RS4. I'd still rather an RS4 though.

RS4 is a bit too 80s IMO, lovely sounding engine, but no class.

M3 4 door for me is one of the best cars you can buy right now

The current M3 looks boring and I find it hard to differentiate it from every other 3 series whereas the RS4 has big flared arches and sounds like it looks. All of the M models appear to be getting a bit tame in terms of looks. I doubt the Z4M Coupe will be a classic like the Z3 breadvan.

I like the subtlety of it. Its got just the right amount of styling to hint that its something special

The RS4 makes no apologies for its brashness

Oh I agree, its no classic design, but show me a car designed in the 21st century that will be?

I'd take the new M3 over the RS4 just now as well.. it's subtle enough to be different - but not too in your face. Unlike the Audi RS4 which needs to come with silver painted mirror caps so everyone knows what you're driving..   :D

LOL!! - I always think the Alfa 8C looks like the Mito they recently brought out (it was obviously their inspiration):

Probably one of the best looking small hatches around at the minute in my opinion.. :) 8-)

That Hamann monstrosity isn't subtle at all <a href='http://www.thescubasite.com/Scuba-Divin ... uth-africa' title='scuba diving in South Africa'><img src='http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/animated/anim_07.gif' alt='scuba diving in South Africa' border='0'></a>

I like the Mito too.

Saw an M3 and and RS4 in quick succession on the way to work. Got to say the RS4 does not age well at all, the 08 plate looked 10 years old in design!

Granted the M3 is relatively new and fresh, but considering the E46 is still a lovely looking motor, I would say its got a lot more legs than the RS4.

And Alex, the Alfa is lovely, but the new 500 is certainly no design classic - the old one was yes, the new is just a take.

Any more? :D

The problem with the Audis for me is that all the current saloons are exactly the same design only on slightly different scales. From a distance you'd be hard pressed to tell an A4 from an A8
