SPRING FEVER.....What's on the menu?
I guess it's safe to say that your northern spring has arrived...what with all the newbies looking for parts to mod / upgrade their recent purchases, and the "old hands" getting their rides prepped in anticipation...It's really quite a buZZ going on at the moment, and good to read all the "WANTED POSTERS"...It promises a healthy future for the Z cars and the forum in general.
Although the autumn is already here across the south of the planet, and a cooling which threatens daily, the progress doesn't stop. Retro fitting the cruise control system is now my next little project, which by the comments here, is a fifteen minute job. Amazing how a "quickie" can be very satisfying occaisionally....

Re: SPRING FEVER.....What's on the menu?
Well I've just had four new brakes discs and a pair of handbrake shoes fitted today... whilst I sat in the sofa taxing my brain with work stuff. Yes, I could probably have done this myself, but it would take me all day (probably two as I'd clean things as well) and I just don't have time at the moment.
Next job is to do the bulbs in the instrument cluster and the headlight switch.
I'm being not entirely lazy - I was under the bonnet of the frog at the weekend sorting out battery leads, refitting my newly powder-coated heater blower and degreasing bits of engine bay in preparation for a bit of painting before it's engine goes back in! My backside and thigh muscles ache something chronic now.
Cheers R.

No mice mate, did a cracking job on the garage in the autumn, clean as a whistle in there and the carpet stayed clean and dry.
