Who killed the radio star?

Interesting little development in the in car entertainment world - BMW are to offer a music streaming service in the 5-series (presumably other models will follow) over mobile phone networks - the more interesting aspect of this is that it is supposed to be across Europe with no additional roaming charges. I wonder if this uses the same SIM as is used for the BMW Assist package? And I wonder if it also might allow more generic internet access - for example for the satnav? Certainly Amazon's Kindle allows access to certain websites for free over the mobile network, though I have not tried this abroad. Hmm....
