Secondary air pump M52 TU any tips thoughts?

New boy here any thoughts or tips on secondary air pump delete process on M52 TU engine any info on ECU remap after delete mucho appreciando......... :roll:

After years of maintaining a standard look engine bay,last week the inevitable secondary air valve decided to go to straight through mode and so I decided the pump and valve had to go.
Removed pump and pipework but replaced bracket from pump as it carried charcoal filter purge valve,made Dural blank to fit in place of valve using gasket as template,had to reuse old gasket pending new one from stealer.
Perfect result-no EML or other issues.

As ZZ3 has done along with many others drop kick the pump down the road and blank off the port in the manifold.
You will not need to remap anything as all this pump does is to blow fresh air into the exhaust while the engine is warming up to get the car through stupidly low emissions requirements in certain states of America.
In the UK they were not needed when the car was new and they are certainly not needed almost 20 years later when they start to go wrong!
There are lots of threads on the forum on the practicalities of deleting the pump.

Same as mentioned, just took it all off, made a blank and capped off the pipe, I've since taken the rest of the pipe off back to the inlet manifold.
