Norfolk ... we're back!

Post by spokey »

:D

Well, as far as I know, we're all intact. I'm photoless, because I managed to have only flat batteries for my camera. I hope everyone who was on the cruise will post at least one photo!

Thanks to everyone who made it, hope everyone got home safely!

Norfolk - Huge thanks to Spokey

Post by stu »

Spokey, thanks a bunch for putting so much time & effort in. We had a great weekend and only had to break off on the way back so Sylv could make her appointment at 7.

Lovely to meet so many of you and it really was our pleasure. I'm sure I owe 1 or 2 people a drink too (of the none super soaker variety too!).

Photos later.

Saturday was not really a photo op day, due to mist/fog type stuff but when we reached the diversion

Norfolk Pub bragging rights is, errr, different!

But not on Spokey in this one for some reason

So we band him

Sunday morning was an imromptu photo call before departure

I hope another lovely run was had by all and those who made the F&G at Fressignfield had a lovely meal!

Once again, massive thanks to the big man and for everyone else who helped us to have such a great time. Lovely to see you ALL :D

Thanks Spokey for arranging a brilliant weekend and apologies to all for bu**ering off without a proper "goodbye" - we saw a convenient peel-off point and weren't sure that there was another stop planned before the A11/A14. It was great to see old friends and make some new ones.
Hope everyone got home safely and look forward to the next cruise.

Many thanks to Spokey, for all his effort in organizing this, I had a fantastic time. :) :) :)

And also thanks to Stu for allowing me to show him how to drive the roads of Norfolk properly

Thanks also to Dario and Gaz for the lunchtime entertainment, those of you at the other pub missed a great show!

Great to meet some new faces.

Got back to my parents in time to watch the grand prix - what a race...

Pictures when I get back home.

Cheers

Many thanks to Spokey for an enjoyable jaunt, the Saturday "diversion" was an excellent treat. A shame that we could only be there for one day.

We had a fab weekend once again, thanks almost entirely to Spokey and his organisational skills and dedication to the 'cause'. Thanks mate.

And great company too.
What an entertaining bunch.....especially that northern geet with the water pistol.....

And to all those who had lunch at the F&G and didn't bother to join the afternoon run....

1. Sorry we didn't get to say our goodbyes. :bawl: and
2. You missed the absolute BEST roads of the weekend. Oh yes, very little traffic (compared to Saturday anyway.... :head: ) with lots of sweeping bends and rapid straights. Definitely the driving highlight of the weekend. Superb!

Pics to follow when I get round to uploading.

Cheers!

Thanks Spokey for a very well organised weekend.

The compnay was excellent and it was nice to meet some new faces.

Couldn't say bye to everyone as Donna and I had to leave early to get back to Zomerset.

Hope to see everyone again soon.

Oh I was not caught short just taking an interest in the fauna and flora

Like to thank Spokey and his team for a great weekend. Who would have thought we would have ended up on a river boat with a jazz band on it.
Well done Spokey

Many many thanks to Spokey and everyone who assisted. It was a great intro to the Z crowd and was great to meet you all. We particularly enjoyed the jazz cruise and me the Sunday Dawn Raid as it was a chance to give my car a blast for the first time. Not up to you M types but great fun !

Enjoyed our first taste of Z cruising. Sadly only able to make the Saturday morning run but that has whetted the appetite for future events.
Met some nice folk too!

Spokey you did us proud :bow

It was a fabulous weekend from start to end, my only wish was, that it wasn't over as quickly. Maybe 4 nights next time :D At least I could then afford at least 1 lie in, the dawn raids were far to good to miss out on
I can't say enough for our wing leader, or should that be wing leaders :puzzle: Alfie, Rob.......Rob, Alfie  either way they did a fantastic job at trying to keep us all together and it was no easy task, believe me

I met some amazing people over the weekend and the the joke sparring between Dario & Gazza in the Fox & Goose will live with me forever, timing was everything, hey Dario?
Oh and I haven't got any photos...... I was way to busy driving :drive :D
Roll on the next one............Scotland anybody?

Finally, I'm so sorry for not saying a proper goodbye  I'm rubbish at them so probably just as well I didn't
