Even worse, I'm relying on a fine day on Thursday or Friday to clean her (cringe!!!).

My main concern is that they have some petrol at those Shell services (& my local ones, of course). Sainsburys petrol station at Biggleswade has had queues right out to the roundabout this week, but when I've filled up at Shell, it's been as normal. That was before the strike started, of course  .

So when I mentioned the cruise at my daughter's yesterday (are you going on a boat?), all I got was - well, that's not very green, is it? Think of all that petrol you're using. Etc,etc etc......Just as a change from 'why do you need such a small laptop?' and some other thing I can't remember offhand.

It could be a good idea to fill up before arriving at the Services as a precaution

I managed to fill up fine at the Shell station near me on Saturday...they only had V-Power and the tightwads in my part of the world just wont go there; instead queuing up for half-an-hour or more at the next door Esso/Tesco station.

I guess the irony of sitting there engine running and time wasted against the extra cost of the V-Power went right by them.

So, me and the missus will be joining you all on Saturday...better get my bucket and sponge out.

Anyone know the contact details for Grazzzz ?

I've sent a text,PM and emailed the contacts on his profile with no joy.

I need to get a Lunch order from him.

Hopefully if he shows on the day the restaurant may be able to squeeze him in.

I'm afraid we've gone past the "take it easy" stage. The next time the Z1 comes out of the garage will be solely to get it to a tyre shop. :(

The weather forecast is fine, can't you think of them as racing slicks? The 116 wheels don't fit?

Well, Green Genie needs to wheel up. My missus has never seen a Z1 before (well, she probably has, but girls, you know!) and I have promised her magical doors.

Sadly, I'm not near Romford and there seems to be a shortage of Toyos in the size for the Z1 at the moment.

I'm sure the Green Genie will be there.

Hi Gazza... sorry for the late notice but I'm gonna have to scratch from this run... :bawl: Catastrophic water pump failure stranding me on the A10, only just been recovered to home.

I've been looking forward to this run, so I'm absolutely gutted. Still, I've got your itinerary file so maybe I'll go on a solo cruise when I've fixed the pump... :(

Once again, sorry for the late notice... hope it won't cause problems with the restaurant booking.

Well, there's a vacancy at the lunch table now, and if Spokey can turn up in a "116i", an M3 convertible should exceed the entry requirements by some margin :D
