So how are you fixed for 4th & 5th September?

Again, it will be a 'spirited' weekend, so please, if you're not a 'natural dawn raider' enjoy the last of the autumn sunshine in the garden. 8-)

Location - Yorks & Lincs.

Models/Marques not an issue. Nice people essential.

Let me know if you're a Yes :D , No  or Maybe :shake: at this stage.

Cheerby peeps.

Bart - the solution is easy. Just buy an inverter so that the hair drier can be powered from the lighter socket (NB: I know this is a little too much power drain). You'll need the engine starting so that the battery isn't dead but then your engine will be all warm and ready for the dawn raid :-)

I'll chime in with - we've got trans-atlantic flights booked.... I'm hoping we can stay with my folks in South Cave again.

Rutted Toad Accomodation

Post by stu »

Due to the number of weddings etc., I've drawn a blank for nice hotels/country retreats (except chez Matthews South Cave estate) so here's a Travel Inn (fairly nice from memory) that currently has 14 rooms available at £45.95.

There is also a Travel Lodge at the Doncaster Services (M180) which people can use for the Friday night (meeting point) at £50 (ask for the discount).

Routes will be the same as last year  .

Meals still to be sorted, so when I get menu's prices, I'll post.

Please let me know via pm if you're coming for the which nights/days and how many people you are (you know what I mean). Also provide a suitable contact number please.

As a reminder, here's the write up from last year.

Saturday

Friday

Finally, there won't be any buses, caravans or other moving chicanes

Been looking forwards to making your acquaintance and it sounds like we drive fairly similarly, well, with you in the Z1 anyway (not sure the 750'd fit down some of the lanes).

You need to be near the back for the best fun!

Another option for Sat night accommodation....

Post by Lorraine »

Allen and I are booked into the Travelogde Doncaster for Friday night.

We were unable to get a room at the recommended Travelin Hessle for Saturday, but I found a nice place 2 minutes from that hotel that still has two rooms available if anyone still needs a room. Here are the details:

Cliff House
Woodfield lane
Hessle, East Yorkshire
HU13 0EW
01482 640880
http://www.cliff-house-hessle.co.uk/

Price is £50 night for standard double.

Can't wait to see everyone!!! :D :D :D

Hi Stu,
Will you be finishing the Zed run at Tatton Park on the 5th??? All the Zeds arriving together would make a great spectacle.

Just to let you know, I got back to work today and found out i have been volunteered :head: for duty on Friday. I have a few ideas on how to get out of it but if not i will have to meet up on Sat morning. What time are we meeting up to start the run? And is it at the Friday hotel car park?.

Speak soon
