I've just got a ticket for myself, my wife and our recently acquired Z3. Looking forward to seeing all the cars (and the gardens).
We would prefer to meet up at Wetherby services.

Mr T just corrected your post - I would offer to bring you a proper coffee from Ferrybridge but to stop it getting cold I would have to drink it on the way :D'

Hi Taz-Devil as Aceman has said it was a great day out last year and you've got a choice of meeting points (Ferrybridge or Wetherby) depending on whether you're north or south of Leeds.

Go on you know it makes sense.

Don't worry about Titan (unless you spot him with a paintbrush in his hand and a tin of pink paint) he's just trying to make Boroughbridge a silver only zone - Ferrybridge and Wetherby are multi-coloured :D

I've added you to the Meeting Point to be Confirmed list

Titan is the one with the colouring fetish and Titan Tim is (so I gather from other threads) more concerned with his new shiny protuberance :D' Didn't want to risk starting another K & N thread

You think that's quick - The previous Saturday, I didn't realise that I liked Z3's until I drove it and wow! So I traded in my "sensible" Volvo V40 for the older impractical Z3 - such a good move!

See you at Ferrybridge.

Geoff
Not sure if you just want to turn up at Newby Hall on the day, or meet at one of the rendezvous points.
Either way it's cheaper to get your ticket in advance. LINK

Not by much, you often have to go a bit out of your way to make a meet point but the alternative is to go stright to the final destination and you miss being in a zed convoy, all part of the fun

I for example travel from the west but carry on to ferrybridge, do four laps around the roundabout and meet up at the services rather than go striaght on the A1 :D

Yes it is "past" Newby for you - by about 5 miles as the crow flies.
However, the rendezvous has to be a realistic venue for 15-20 cars.
Depending which way you choose to arrive from the wrong* side of the Pennines, Boroughbridge may well be on your direct route anyway :D

About half past or quarter to........

Not sure of timings yet Geoff
Zed Carer is organising the "southern" northern members
Better timings will be posted nearer the date and depends when gates are open at Newby.
To some extent, it depends how many times Jonttt chooses to go round Ferrybridge
Last year Boroughbridge was ~10:00am

Thanks for those welcoming words "Zed Carer".
I have had my profile corrected to my preferred name "zopar".
So will you swap the "W8KSB" reference to that of "zopar".

Having missed out on the excellent Yorkshire Cruise because of my shift work :bawl: I have managed to swap my shift for this date :D , the downside being that I don't finish work until 1.00 am on Sunday morning  . Even then there is always the chance I might be later still finishing.

Despite the above I have adopted a positive attitude in so far as a) I will not be late finishing work, b) the weather will be brilliant and c) the cars and company will be superb - though I realise only c) is guaranteed.

So having obtained tickets for me and the wife, I'd be grateful if you could put me down for Ferrybridge.

Thanks

A couple more and there will be enough of us to be spectators all round the roundabout to verify the number of times you go round :D'

Might even run a sweepstake - was it 4 or 14 times last year '
