I've just got a ticket for myself, my wife and our recently acquired Z3. Looking forward to seeing all the cars (and the gardens).
We would prefer to meet up at Wetherby services.
Oldie

Cheers Stanzie - it gets lonely in Morrison's big car park
Look forward to meeting you too

Cheers Stanzie - it gets lonely in Morrison's big car park and the coffee is just awful
Look forward to meeting you too
Mr T just corrected your post - I would offer to bring you a proper coffee from Ferrybridge but to stop it getting cold I would have to drink it on the way '
Taz-Devil wrote:fancy idea of this is it a good day out and where do you all meet at Wetherby
Hi Taz-Devil as Aceman has said it was a great day out last year and you've got a choice of meeting points (Ferrybridge or Wetherby) depending on whether you're north or south of Leeds.
The sausage butties are OK, but don't leave your coat on the back of your chair with the car keys in when you leave

Second rendezvous at Boroughbridge for t'northerners
I will try and join this one, im off work on the monday so i could stay over somewhere
Titan does that mean i would have to come in the audi to this and leave poor zeddy at home
Gill
Don't worry about Titan (unless you spot him with a paintbrush in his hand and a tin of pink paint) he's just trying to make Boroughbridge a silver only zone - Ferrybridge and Wetherby are multi-coloured
I've added you to the Meeting Point to be Confirmed list
He is dab handy with a paintbrush, albeit a computerised one, did you see the photo he posted after what he did with my car when i had just got him? or was it titan tim i dont know which is which now

Titan is the one with the colouring fetish and Titan Tim is (so I gather from other threads) more concerned with his new shiny protuberance ' Didn't want to risk starting another K & N thread
Same words as Oldie...

Looking forward to seeing all the cars (and the gardens).
But for me, please put my name down to meet at Ferrybridge services.
That was quick work joining the forum and booking your first meet on the same day nice one You're booked for Ferrybridge.
Look forward to meeting you and hopefully it will be
You think that's quick - The previous Saturday, I didn't realise that I liked Z3's until I drove it and wow! So I traded in my "sensible" Volvo V40 for the older impractical Z3 - such a good move!
Geoff
Not sure if you just want to turn up at Newby Hall on the day, or meet at one of the rendezvous points.
Either way it's cheaper to get your ticket in advance. LINK
We have got the tickets. I thought we might meet at a rendezous point. We will probaby coming in from the north because we are going to leave home on Thus./Friday and tootle down and stop when the mood takes us.
seasurfer wrote:Titan, isnt morrisons passed where we need to be from the north ?
Gill
Not by much, you often have to go a bit out of your way to make a meet point but the alternative is to go stright to the final destination and you miss being in a zed convoy, all part of the fun
I for example travel from the west but carry on to ferrybridge, do four laps around the roundabout and meet up at the services rather than go striaght on the A1

Yes it is "past" Newby for you - by about 5 miles as the crow flies.
However, the rendezvous has to be a realistic venue for 15-20 cars.
Depending which way you choose to arrive from the wrong* side of the Pennines, Boroughbridge may well be on your direct route anyway
Not sure of timings yet Geoff Zed Carer is organising the "southern" northern members
Better timings will be posted nearer the date and depends when gates are open at Newby.
To some extent, it depends how many times Jonttt chooses to go round Ferrybridge Last year Boroughbridge was ~10:00am

Hi weegeoff - I'll add you to the Boroughbridge list.

Thanks for those welcoming words "Zed Carer".
I have had my profile corrected to my preferred name "zopar".
So will you swap the "W8KSB" reference to that of "zopar".
See you all soon.
A
Having missed out on the excellent Yorkshire Cruise because of my shift work I have managed to swap my shift for this date , the downside being that I don't finish work until 1.00 am on Sunday morning . Even then there is always the chance I might be later still finishing.
Despite the above I have adopted a positive attitude in so far as a) I will not be late finishing work, b) the weather will be brilliant and c) the cars and company will be superb - though I realise only c) is guaranteed.
So having obtained tickets for me and the wife, I'd be grateful if you could put me down for Ferrybridge.
The ferrybridge roundabout is gonna be busy, last one round the lorry park is a wuss

To be fair I think it was only 3 and 2 laps of the lorry park, I'm proud
