Thanks, Gail & Ron, for organising a great day out. It was nice to meet new faces and the rain held off despite what the weatherman said!
We'll have a go at posting our photos when we have sorted them out.

Use the Search button before posting newbie questions about hard tops and fitting kits, footwell speaker amps, water in the boot, hood maintainance and those horrific angel eyes. We get like 10 threads a week on the same subject, it's obvious that you haven't searched.

Only reasonable Titan, I thought that we did really well without your tape measure.

Yes those MPVs get in everywhere, could have asked him to move it, but he may have paid to park there unlike us. :)

With mpg like that Gary ///M's will be sought after, although I suspect you were itching to put your foot down. Some on here only get 27 mpg on their 1.9's. I average 35mpg on my 1.9, although driving as sedately as yesterday it would be nearer 40.

No didn't see the MX5,s Tim, would they have been in the car park with the ice cream van in it on our right.

Dunno Ron, my sat nav was playing silly beggars when we left you and I think we did a few circles around the forest, did'nt mind though scenery was great and we even got the hood down for a short while again. All I remember was it was a large spot with trees to one side and thats where the picnic was, I must admit it was a tremendous turnout, common as muck I say :!: Class not numbers thats what counts.

Hey Nick if you want to experience a difference with your 2.8 you only had to ask and you could have had a ride in our 1.9

It made a change to be able to look at the scenery instead of concentrating on the rear of the Zed in front

I was quielty contemplating coming alond to the run with you all down on the South Coast. I would of visited Family overnight in Portsmouth area, and come on the run the next day. I so wished I had done so. Looks like you had a great day.

Alas, I spent the day waxing and polishing cars, as the weather couldn't make it's mind up.

You would have been very welcome indizee. Always good to meet forum members. Your black Zed would have made 7 different colour Zed's in our line-up. :)
