Pistonhead meet today in Gillingham Kent (Pics)

Post by Hang_em_high »

Went to the Pistonheads meet this morning with my lad and im pleased I did. Millions of pounds worth of exotica cars there, with the added bonus of good weather if a little on the chilly side :D Only saw 2 Zeds there, one ///m painted in matt black with carbon wrap on the bonnet. Didn't think it would look very nice but to my surprise it looked rather cool in the flesh.

and then there was this very tidy looking Zed. Anyone here ?

My lad with our car and a couple of other VX's from the VX forum that we met up with.

Here's just a few pics of some of the other stuff that attended the meet. Seeing these kind of motors out this time of year was good to see, but make you realise how the other half live

Lovely pictures Nick, thanks for posting them. :thumb:

Did you have your roof off on the drive down there.

Went for a drive in the Zed to Dungeness this afternoon, left the roof up though as the temperature was hovering around the 4 degree mark. :)

That's Sanj's zed (ex 'Roys M' from zroadster). He's been on our stand at Santa Pod for the last 2 years and keeps promising to join us on here but never quite gets round to it

looked like a good turnout, weather looks like it has broken in the UK then

Its good when you get a good turnout of various cars

I´ll have to double my efforts and get mine finished for this year

Yep the back of that GT was awesome, of all the fantastic cars there it would have been the GT and the lambo that I would of wanted to take home :D
I know what you about the R8, although I did rather like the white R8 from the front

Looks like a good turnout.

The R8's are awesome to drive :drive

To be honest the car I would be most tempted with there was the XKR convertable just in one of the shots. My brother had one not long ago and £ for £ one of the best cars I've driven

Yes i was meaning to get a good shot of the XKR but never got back to it. I agree it is an awesome car for the money. A friend of mine has one which I got to have a go in. Sold it now and bought the new XJ !!!!

Another favourite of mine and with a lovely back end has to be the 348 and will certainly be a car that will grace my driveway oneday

Great photos, thanks for sharing, I have always loved the GT40.
Great classic car, Ferrari could not beat it at the time.
