Gill I won't be able to make it either. Between champions league final (come on Barca) and an 11 month olds swimming lesson (I've been away for the last 3) I'm under orders to not wander too far :-(

Thanks Titan, had a good day to day. Sunshine and plenty of wind - best combination.

The pro's have just finished, they were riding 5mtr and 7 mtr kites which are really small but the winds have been excellent, up to 28 mph, so the higher the winds, the smaller kite you need.

Riders will be arriving now till late tonight for the heats tomoro, ametuer women, ametuer men, juniors and seniors will all compete for their respective titles in the championships. Forcast is 24mph which is perfect again for the riders. For spectators, sunshine, bit of mist, bit of cloud, so bit mixed but should be ok.

Im busy getting things ready for the bbq at the beach for tonight. Will post some pics ups tomorro evening.

Catch up with you all at some point.

A few pics from yesterday for those interested, wind was howling, ocassional sun broke through the clouds and a great competition. Always great to see the colours of the kites against the skies, they bring the beach to life.

Good job old zeddy had his stable mate with him :D

Thanks Gill - super shots from the shore line but poor Zeddy - he looks so lonely :(
As for this thing - is it a CAMPING POD, or a caravan without wheels, or a snail house perhaps :?:
Whatever it is you gotta be pretty small to get through that door!

Thanks for your comments on the pics, and dont rub it in that old zeddy was on more or less on his own :bawl:

Walney produced the wind again, for the fifth year in succession and the compettion was full on. Everyone we could get to speak to thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

The Pod, some friends have gone in to business and are making them, they are brill. They brought one down to the event for advertising and Georgina spent two nights in it and loved it. It has two bunks, thats it. But can be used for what ever you want and are made in different sizes, eg, extra bunks in the garden, or an office or for keeping zed cleaning products in  ect ect Think we will get one when we move as the garden is bigger than where we are now :D

HT, no towbar on the TT, but one of your trucks wouldnt feel that on the back :D

Pics look great Gill, I think the 1st picture was just to make us all feel more guilty than we already do... I'll make it up to you ... next lunch is on me :D

Looks like Walney will retain it's great reputation for a venue for this event which is fantastic for you and your business.

I think, for those who can make it, we owe Gill a trip up to the lakes some time soon.........................:thumb:
