Hi Phil,

I'm planning to come along on this one. The car is having some body shop work done on the Monday, but assuming the garage sticks to its schedule, I'll be there.

If anyone fancies a bit more info and a looksie at the Old Chequers Inn, here's a link:

A sort of mini cow catcher like trains have?

Seriously, hopefully this run will be animal free.

Derrick and I will be going, we've dined at the Old Chequers a few times before and found it good, so we'll look forward to that.

See you all there :x

I'm still planning on being there (garage schedule permitting), although my ride is more of a WCH.

Phil, I've never been to Brueton Park before. Is the car park easy to find?

We start to congregate around 7.00pm and leave on the dot at 7.30pm.

Phil, big thanks for letting me come along to your Drive and Dine tonight. The drive along those country roads was great fun. Also a good choice for the food as well. Don't think I'll need to eat for a couple of days!

It was also a good opertunity to catch up with a few old faces from Lakes and the Scotland runs.

It's just a shame I'm not in the area more often with my car. :D

great route & superb food :D

Also nice to see old and new faces again, but JR's going to have to tell the missus about the car's handling changes

The Exige is gorgeous, but we thought it had broken down when we saw it crawling up the M5  RUNNING IN - DON'T YOU JUST LOVE IT?

A good night all round. I will post some pics up early next week, assuming they come out ok. If anyone dislikes having their number plate displayed, let me know and I'll work some on screen Tippex magic. Didn't photograph the Exige unfortunately - the light had gone by then.

Just for the record there were 5 Z3s, a Z4, the Porsche and a guest appearance from JayCee's Exige.
Oh yes and the Dakaar Yellow Z that turned up in the car park to see what's going on.
New faces are always welcome and I hope Julian and Steve can make it again sometime.
The next one is 12th Oct..
Will also be looking to do a special Christmas Night on the allocated day.

Gary. Had a long lie in this morning so did not get out

Post by JayCee »

to the East coast as I had planned, so no golf clubs checked out no. Had a blast around my local roads instead, then headed out to the Yorkshire Dales then back across to the West coast, Lytham St Annes, and up the prom at Blackpool, lots of waves and shouts and holidaymakers taking pictures of the car. Was just like the good ole days when the Zed's (3) were quite rare. Here's a pic of the botty end.
