Cars In The Park - Harewood 11th September WITH TIMES
Hi Zed Carer,
What kind of drive are you having from Ferrybridge upto Wetherby?
My Z is not very well at the minute, the boot welds are in a sad state and I want to be quite gentle with it until it goes in for some welding.
I don't want to leave my diff in the road behind me!
I like the idea of driving up in convoy but I may be better to meet you up at Wetherby, what do you think?

Nothing that should be a problem for you - hopefully traffic and weather permitting there's a couple of nice sections but nothing untoward (generally all within the speed limit) plus the slow section through Aberford and the final jog along the A1(M) to Wetherby. I ran for over a year before I discovered my popped boot welds and didn't have any problems.wildeboy wrote:Hi Zed Carer,

Still not enough I'm afraid, it's going to take a while to get it upto standard as I can't find enough time/good weather to tackle it all at the moment, it's getting there though.Jonttt wrote:Yep it's a shame would have loved to see your new ///M but I bet you've scrutinised it to death .

Looking forward to seeing you and Sharky and catching up on things - now about getting lost:whiteminks wrote:Hi All,
I will be coming with Sharky tomorrow. Have just sorted my ticket out. I'll see you at Ferrybridge and try my best not to get lost again
We could get someone to bring a tow rope
Or as there's not that many of us we could leave the services and do 2 or 3 laps of the roundabout so you could get lost and found again

Search party is on standby, as is a pressure washer in case the minx decides to go cross country again.
Cheers R.

Had a brilliant morning at CITP. It was nice to meet some more nice people and put faces to the names,
Unfortunately we had to leave early because we had taken our dog who got stung on his paw by a wasp and it had swollen up to twice its size.(Tip for dog lovers if they get stung bathe it in full fat coca cola it really works shame we didnt know that before we left). Anyway managed to grab a couple of pics before we left.

Thanks to Bill for organising a great day! The weather held up better than I thought it would but it was a little breezy at times.
It was lovely to meet up with Zedders old and new and Rob T kindly fixed the ashtray thingy in Sharky so he is very pleased with that!
So sorry the dawgy got stung . He was gorgeous and he would have been the perfect accessory for Sharky ( or should that be the other way around?) as he was colour co-ordinated and I would have loved a picture with them next to each other .
What sort of dawgy is he? Is he an airdale? What is his name? He/she is sooooooooooo adorable. I hope he/she has a speedy recovery.

Thanks to Zed Carer for organizing a good day out.
Beautiful weather for the drive up but a bit chilly once there!
My family had a great time too, in the bird garden and playground!
Here are a couple of photos (my car is not as shiney as it looks in the photos!).
'Till next time.....

OK, claggged some music on the video.
Mmmmmm, well maybe spent some time editing
Maybe not quite what you expected.

Ha ha ha, I'm just a novice at this car video malarky. Just trying different ways of making videos that avoid the usual cliche rock music tracks.
After the Ferrari's past me on the motorway I was expecting all the Zed's gathered at Wetherby to "drive past". I ended up being the first in line at Harewood House just in time to catch all the Zed's lining up.
I did try putting together all the video and pics I took. But, at around 18 minutes of near silence I thought it was very boring, hence, going over the top with heavy editing and banging' music.
