Old A120 - and a cool drive home
Old A120 - and a cool drive home
On way to work yesterday - a dark blue T reg Z3 near Bishops Stortford on the A120, heading towards Birchanger services.
And he even waved back!!! (Did have hood up though )
Anyone on here?
The first time I've had the Z out in ages too. And leaving work at 2am last night, the car temp showed 18 degrees! Lovely clear night - so down came the top
Got a couple of odd looks, but who cares! Bloody great it was too

do you actually like driving at all or are cars to you just a manifestation of some sort of pathological mother complex ?

On the Essex Run we passed a Dark Blue T reg Zed with roof up, driven by a female who was frantically waving and she had the biggest smileRobBruce wrote:On way to work yesterday - a dark blue T reg Z3 near Bishops Stortford on the A120, heading towards Birchanger services.

YEAH!! It was me!! You were driving the green Z right? I'd literally just bought the car from a guy in Bishop's Stortford and was driving it home to Berks. He used to post on here under the name Roadster1 I think?
I was so chuffed that the first Z3 I met waved to me - it was the icing on the cake...the cake being me unleashing the 2.8 beast on the M11 and revelling in that beautiful exhaust note.
I didn't have the hood down because I hadn't even figured out how it worked and I was completely flustered by trying to set all the internal controls - haha!
I owned my Puma for nearly 2 years and none of the miserable people I've passed have ever waved at me so thanks for making my day even better!

Welcome mate - how good was that? A wave just after buying the car!
Enjoy the wonderful world of Z ownership - and try to get yourself on a cruise soon!
