He might have banged his head but there is obviously nothing of value inside it!

Looking at that path, that's what I was thinking! Luckily he survived the detour. :?

thats a narrow route in good weather, let alone bad.
Don't think it would have got through the MOT, looks like his rear brake pipes are rusty...... but they are easy to change in that position. :D

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

Glad the chap driving wasn't hurt, it shows the roll-over protection must be pretty good. Looks like a 2.8.

Hi to you all out there. Unless I am looking at a section of the path that has been damaged and not repaired - there is no safety rail/barrier.

Surely there would not have been legitimate vehicular access along such a path anyway !!!!!

I am certainly glad that the driver was OK.

What evidence was there to suggest that it might have been a 2.8 - the view of the rear did not appear to show anything and the view of the underside was not so good as to be able to determine what it was either.
Happiness is a well kept Z3 and preferably running with the hood down - weather permitting.

Where this happened is a coastal footpath and a while back I think I saw a sign telling you that cycling wasn't allowed either. I looked at the closest part to the road on Streetview, where it appears there is a gate, which is probably padlocked. The local paper tells us that the driver was not local, but even so I can't think what he was doing going along there. Access onto the path is tricky to say the least, even without a gate in the way and as it happened at close to 8 am, it couldn't really be a night time prank either.
