Lightchanging Green/Purple Z3 in Bangor Gwynedd

Post by Paul.Stuhlfelder »

Just let a Z3 out a Junction in front of me in Bangor Gwynedd, a lovely Green/Purple colour (like the TVR on Swordfish) just wondering if its anyone on here?

It would be great if we could have a "Spotted?" forum, there's one on a VX forum I visit, and you simply post "Spotted a XXX at XXX" and see if its anyone off the boards.

Use Let's Talk for Spotted, if there's not already a thread

There was a 'flick' purple/green paint Z3 in Doncaster with Lambo doors & a tragic rear spoiler last year which may have moved on. Might be that one.

All you have to do is ask. 8-)

The only 'standard' BMW colour like you describe is Scarab Green: http://www.zroadster.net/tim/colors/z622-scar.html

There's also a Dupont colour which is considerably more gaudy: http://www.zroadster.net/tim/colors/m999-rare.html

Boston Green is another candidate as it has blue tints within the green: http://www.zroadster.net/tim/colors/z275-bost.html

Excellent, thanks for the forum :)

Definately no "Silly Spoiler" and the occupants were "out of the Chav" agegroup, definately none of the above colours either. :nerd:

That's an OFFICIAL BMW individual option - same as on the Individual show MCoupe. :) Don't know who it belongs to tho.

Im not sure, I just remember that from a link on Stock Exchange.

It was the picture on this link that looks kind of purple to dark green:

It was purple like that, but the green tint was also MUCH more defined.

That's what I'm thinking of. It's a BMW Individual colour and saw it on a Mini in the BMW showroom a few months back + on an MCoupe in the BMWCCGB mag with an 'Individual' show plate.

Haven't seen the above mentioned cars apart from the rather horrid lambo door one at a car show which did make me laugh and has been mentioned a fair few times before on here. However I did look into getting a pearlescent finish on mine so you got a tint of white as the light reflected on it, the chap in grimsby said he could do the full car for £500 which I though was a bargain but to have the full TVR effect he said that would cost about £2000  wasn't prepared to spend that.
