Newbie Rare Coloured Z3 Owner

Post by g8jka »

Just a quick hello from a new owner.

Looking through posts from yourselves it seems to me that my new Z3 is a colour not seen on here to often? I think they call it Titan Silver??!!

Anyway it maybe the most common colour but I love it, just upgraded from an E36 325i Coupe, had the zed 3 weeks now and it's a fantastic car.

I have been after one ever since my dad (gookah) had a 3.0 sport with AC Schnitzer styling. He has just swapped it for a Z4, unfortunately a couple of weeks before I brought my zed otherwise I could have had loads of goodies from his before he traded it in.

Mine is a 2.0, 82,000 miles, rear roll hoops, black electric heated sports seats, extended black leather on the console and dash with full digital OBC (don't know if these are rare in the 2.0's every other I looked at seemed to just have the normal clock).

Pretty standard spec apart from this, although I have added angel eyes and de-tangoed the front lights, added some chrome door handle covers, moved the electric roof button next to the heated seat switch (thanks dad!) and fitted my head unit with iPod connection.

My next purchased will be some new wheels and chrome roll hoops and side gills, etc!

I'll stop going on now and leave you with some pictures and I look forward to meeting some of you!

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

Well I'm hoping that I'll never need touch up paint and as for buying it off you, you can get lost just make sure you leave it in your will for me! Its a shame I don't have the hard top fitting kit on mine otherise that titan hard top wouldn't be in the garage much longer, you know how I like to drive around with the roof up on sunny days like today. Don't worry, i won't be driving like a grandad either.
