Hi, All
newbie to all this but love this site and my 1st Z3 Black 2.8 bloody great just wish I had brought one earlier can somebody tell me the best product to use on the ragtop for cleaning and restoring the colour back (Black) and possible easy mods? engine or body thanks in advance.

I've bought the Autoglym Fabric Hood Maintenance kit - a 2 part cleaner & Protector. Not had a chance to use it yet but will post the results on my progress thread when I get around to it.

Just redone mine using BMW cleaner and new BMW aerosol proofer at the weekend. The cleaner works very well. I haven't been out in the rain yet to see how the new proofer holds up.

2.8s are awesome, I had one :D

Best mod I did in mine was to fit a set of M seats.. Don't bother with engine mods.. Isn't worth it.. Just keep it serviced well :wink:

Can recommend the autoglym kit, used on my 2.8 and works well

Have now done hood with Turtle Wax wash & restore looks bloody great :lol:
cant wait to have exhaust mod done twin outlet like Z3 M???? what you think?

I'd say go for it, this time next week that's what I'll have on my 2.8 :)

I used G-Techniq on the roof, not impressed to say the least.
beaded for a day, but not any more.....

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..
