Picked up my Z3

Post by smc2402 »

Finally taken the plunge ! I've brought a 2000 Z3 3.0i.

It's in quite good condition, the hood is fine, back window is a little scratched but liveable. Red and black leather interior, heated seats ( drivers doesn't work ? ) Aircon, electric seats, electric roof etc.

There's a few small things, well ...... new tyres all round ( ordered today ). Crease in passenger door, Dent Devils say they can't do anything, so will look out for a Titan Silver door on Ebay ( are all Z3 doors the same, or changed at facelift ? ). The alloys could do with a refurb, soft spoke alloy type.

Good points ; excellent history, 2 owners, just had Inspection II @ specialist, 2 new brake callipers, sounds amazing, mileage is 112k but feels really solid.

Best part ? £ 2,200.00 with a bit of haggling .... that's SO much car for the money, I'm CHUFFED ! She;ll be clay bar'd, paint polish, sealed, waxed and waxed again this weekend !
