another newbie!

Post by magicmitch »

Just saying Hi, been looking at the forum for a while now and thought it's time to join!
Living down on the sunny (??!) Kent coast I got my Z 2 years ago (my 3 litre, straight six, mid life crisis!) and have had a lorro lorra fun in it. Just back from a blat through Wales and if I can ever figure out how to upload photos I'll share some of the fantastic roads we found.
Looking forward to swapping Z stories in future!

Hi from another 3 litre midlife crisis and welcome. If you look at the top line in the 'new to zroadster.net' page there is some info on posting photo's. Need a photo hosting site photobucket etc.

Thanks for the mention Gazza, yes we often have mini-meets, and sometimes mid-week lunch meets too. :drive

Welcome to the forum magicmitch, where are you based on the Kent coast?

I remember Margate well in my youth. Dreamland was the place to go, no longer there any more of course.

Look forward to seeing pictures of your Zed.

I will probably organise a Kent/Sussex cruise around April time. :drive

If you post a link from Photobucket and then move its position on PB the pic will show as a broken link as in your post ;)

Margate's undergoing a bit of a comeback, they've built the Turner art gallery and spent a load of money on the old town area, its better than it was!! Highstreet and Dreamland still grotty though!!

I'm liking the colour also - but I'm a bit biased :)

Hi Mint, I'd have loved the cream interior, but took me so long to find a 3.0 Sport in the right colour I had to settle for rather drab black!

It won't be drab when you've cleaned and polished it though...
