New Z3 owner saying hi

Post by Topperz »

Hi to you all and may I say what a great forum you have going here
I'm not new to BMW having started out in 1998 with an e36 1.8 ise, then in 2000 a face lift e46 1.9 ise both company cars but e46 was purchased and kept for five years,
Two years ago I saw an e91 msport 320d for sale in Monaco blue with lemon Dakota leather and fell back in love with the German Marc again
So back to now,the e91 has gone and in its place we went for an new e84 2.0d msport X drive in mineral white with coral leather ,very nice and very practical
I had always liked the z3 since 1999 when my local bmw dealer lent me a 1.9 in red for the day while the e36 was in for a service (no work was don't that sunny day ,I remember well )
We had always kept a little Suzuki jimmy for the winter but now we had the xdrive I thought do we need two 4 wheel drives so we decide to keep a look out for a little fun car
So what did we end up with !!?
Z3 2.0 cosmos black edition year 2000
Air con
Two tone leather m seats in black/ yellow
6 stack cd
32 style staggered 17 " alloys ( need a refurb)
Full bmw history with 62,000 on the clock
Heated seats
2 owners from new, last one for 9 years
It even came with its own plate,S3COS ....Z3COSmic
After a good clean and quick detail with poorboys she looks real good now, previous owner was a drive thro hand car wash fan and had an affliction to wax and polish
I have fitted a short shift weighted msport gear knob....big difference instantly
As for other mods planned ...none,going to keep it totally original ,even down to the tape deck lol
I will try n pop some pics up and hope to meet up at some of the events over the coming years
Lastly a big thanks to Titan who sent me a set of the stone guards over recently

Hi & Welcome

Pics will confirm how nice your new addition is, but it sounds lovely. Nice to find a pampered car I would imagine.
