Yes indeed

Now this is mainly what I need to look into, all the different types!

I want one that's at least as fast as my Integra so I think a 2.8 could be what I'm after, not sure about facelift or pre-facelift yet :?

If budget can stretch go for a 3.0.. More powerful and prob one of the most economical too..

But the 2.8s are great too, I had one before the M

Yeh, am I right in thinking the 2.8 was only available in the pre-facelift and the 3.0 only in the facelift? Roadster if it makes a difference?

The 2.8s were superseded by the 3.0 and the facelift shape came in around 1999/2000. The 2.8 ended around the same time and so there were a few facelift 2.8s, which had revised duel vanos engines ( like Hondas v-tec system ).
I had a late duel vanos 2.8, just smoother and slightly more economical than the single vanos 2.8

Lovely, thanks a lot for the info :thumb:

Just had a quick look at some for sale, seems the 3.0s fetch good money still, think it's going to be a lateish 2.8 or possibly a crash damaged 3.0

Nice, I do like the CRXs, really rare on the road now it seems :(

The Teg is my first Honda and I love it but I fancy some rear wheel drive, roof down action

The biggest problem with the crx's was rust.. Hence why not many on the road now..
Rust is one thing you don't have to worry about on the Zeds as there well built and have no 'major' rust issues. Plus most of the panels are bolt on so can easily be replaced if needed in the future.

A good bonus to look out for is a zed with a hardtop included.. They are out there and will save you best part of 700-800£ if you wanted one in the future

I do remember seeing a facelift 2.8 with hardtop forsale recently..

I've had to tackle my fair share of rust on my Golf so if it comes to it that wouldn't be a problem

Do you remember where you saw this car for sale recently?

This 2.8 is in East London and definately worth looking at, owned by a Forum member.
