Long time BMW owner new to Z3's

Hi all, I've owned BMW's for a long time (still have a 1996 328isport coupe and a 1987 528i) and shortly before Christmas I purchased a 1998 2.8ltr Z3 with the intention of turning it into a race car. So no doubt I'll end up asking lots of silly questions as well as trying to flog the bits on the car I'll be stripping out to pay for the rest of the conversion!
