After 7 years of ownership, I can now report that I get 29mpg. I still haven't bought myself a wind deflector, had 1 x new starter motor, 2 x new springs, no longer running on RF's. The only bits that have fallen off or ceased to function are; the gear knob which spins 360, the ashtray doesn't stay closed, the centre console light stays lit when the blue-tac pops out, the glove box hinge broke off, the pax airbag light stays on...still love it
