New guy wants a Z3 but...

Post by tomhawk23 »

Hello from Virginia, USA. I'm thinking seriously about getting a Z3 but don't know anyone that has one. Is the interior size comfortable for a 6'1" 190 lb. driver? I've got an 64' MGB that is plenty big.

Thanks for the input.

Tomhawk, I'm 6'4' and 230 lb and I fit in nicely.
Go take a test drive and you'll love it so much you'll make sure you fit! :)

I let a rather large and tall German gent try mine out, and even with the seat in the lowest position his head touched the roof, I’m not joking this time, true.

I'm 6'3 - no problem at all. More head room in the Z3 range than in some ostensibly bigger cars, such as Toyota Celica (I was always banging my head in that).

I'm 6'1' and 220 LBS and no problem at all, plenty of headroom, a bit tricky getting in & out sometimes (getting on a bit now)

Thanks for all of the positive (mostly) feedback folks. :D

I have been looking for a Z for the past few months. Once I drive one I'm pretty confident I'll fall in love and get one. I love my MGB but I crave more power.
Nothing like the feeling of a roadster under you.

Take your time, Tom, and get the bet one you can. Plenty of Zeds out there.

Good luck!
