I'm growing a moustache!

I am growing a moustache to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.

I have managed to get through the first week of itching and scratching and am now onto the second week where people start to give me strange looks.

It does look pretty awful, and you can see it in peoples eyes, they just try to pretend they hadn't noticed!

I am doing it for 2 reasons, firstly to raise awareness so, for example, did you know 1 in 9 men will suffer from prostate cancer in their lifetime.

The second reason is to raise money for cancer reasearch charities, in particular prostate and testicular cancer, so please click on this link and donate to the cause. Any amount will do however small, you can use a bank card or paypal.

Thanks Zamezee, the moustache is coming on fine, the fund raising is not going so well!

Unfortunately men's health is not a subject we really like to think about , but almost as many men get prostate cancer as women get breast cancer!

Cancer of the dangly bits doesn't bear thinking about either! It is not as common but affects younger men between the ages of 20 and 55, which is probably the age of most of the zroadster members!

I'll post the fund raising link again in the hope that someone will make me growing this moustache worthwhile!

Just recently at my place of work, there have been a load of blokes walking around with moustaches. Now I know why.

This is a very good cause and my hat goes off to you, good luck raising the cash.

im also trying to grow a mustache (as much as my 21 year old face will produce) with uneven and unimpressive results. But hey ho, its the thaught that counts and GL to everyone else taking part.
