MAINTENANCE - PET HATES...

What are your "pet hates" with regard to maintenance tasks on the Z3 ?
Mine is removing the doorcards.... it's easy enough to do, but everytime I do it I replace a couple of the clips which pop into the metal door skin... and that p's me...
The other thing is removing the headlights...the wiring harness should be about 100mm longer to the lightbulbs etc... so you can pull the headlight out and have comfortable access to disconnecting and re-connecting them...

Yep, leather it down here - cancelled the cruise today because of it!

I extended all the wiring on my headlights on the 2.0L when I upgraded them to the new versions and installed spade connectors to make them easy to attach and re attach at the headlight side of the loom so technically they are all still plug and play and OEM reversible, much better.

Need to take the headlights off the M soon, the insides of the lenses are manky so they will need to be given the Sunday roast treatment
