Got be genuine for me. Let's face it a "cheap" Quartz movement is more accurate, you are buying into a brand/history etc.... Etc... So simply don't see the point of a fake one

Some of the high end fakes are very very good eg Rolex now certify as genuine following a service but at the end of the day they are still a fake

Mine are part of my legacy to my daughter, I get more joy from them than the money in the bank and bought wisely they will always increase in value.

Your going to have to provide a source for that info ref Rolex. No way would they certify a fake Rolex as genuine.
In fact they will seize a genuine Rolex containing say a fake / non genuine dial and destroy the watch as a fake if handed in for servicing. Even when all that was wrong was a dodgy dial.
