Back from the body shop, into an entirely different workshop

Post by XVar »

Got my car back from the body shop last week after a full respray, and went out to take some photos with a few mates yesterday. Wasn't expecting to get these shots though, went out hoping to get a few industrial-ish photos, ended up with my car in a Victorian steam powered workshop. Turns out the guy running it is really into photography himself, and was extremely accomadating - top bloke. The location was the Claymills in Burton upon Trent: http://www.claymills.org.uk/. Worth a visit in itself if you're in the area, some amazing machinery there.

Yes. like the others say, absolutely wonderful shots. Nicely judged contrast particularly with the red.
The car now looks tip top, I imagine you're very pleased with it?

I can't take credit for the photos they were taken by my friend (who yes, you can see in the reflection lol) but yeah he's not bad at it!

Yeah I'm really pleased with the respray, the car suffered from pretty catastrophic clearcoat failure which I was pretty pissed off about but I just bit the bullet and got the whole thing redone. Definitely worth it :)

Climbed over the driver's side door, it was too close to the giant steam engine thing to open the door
