My Z3, one year in the making

Post by sean d » Tue 06 Dec, 2016 21:01

I purchased my first Z3 this time last year, as I am a panel beater and sprayer it was straight in the shop for a makeover, lots of deliberation see the colour changed to BMW Protonic blue, the shell was removed and full anti-corrosion treatment was done to all under panels,

I managed to get a cheap set of sports seats that where in very poor condition and really had to put some time into restoring them, They had numerous coats of paint that needed removing before redying them
Here's the seat on arrival

What an outstanding job! Really impressive.

How did you do the piano black - I assume it's painted, cleared and polished?

Doing such a fantastic renovation job on the bodywork and interior, here's an old link to an old thread for the sort of mechanical standards we're now expecting from you during these long winter nights :D
