Cannot send PM

Hi,
I have sent three PMs today to the same member and they all sit in the forums Outbox.
Can anyone let me know why this might be?

They stay in Outbox until read, when they move to Sent.

I had a PM in my inbox for ages before I noticed it, not something I tend to look for when on the forum, It was somebody asking after the original Z-star wheels I had stored in my garage, by the time I replied he had brought else where
