Rubber hose at base of dipstick tube

Postby Pat Slade » Tue 14 Feb, 2017 11:27

Hi,

Does anyone know the size of the hose part no. 11431258329 at the base of the dipstick guide tube please? Mine has hardened and is weeping oil slightly. The part is NLA according to OEM.
Would be helpful to know, so that I can have the part before I get underneath to replace. I intend to wait until the weather is a bit warmer!

Thanks guys.

Thanks Pingu,

That's the only one I found with reasonable shipping charges. Will probably give it a try!

It looks like a cheap piece of hose. I suggest that once Pat has the original, he takes it to a hose supplier and buys a metre. I expect the metre will cost less than the original part.
