Hi.

When I had a Lotus Kit car some years ago I went to a number of kit car shows where there were a number of stalls that sold parts such as chrome items etc etc.

My son had an MGB GT a couple of years ago and the same was true. I

have had my Z3 2.8 for only a couple of months and would like to know if there are shows where they sell various items of chrome work that you can see and buy rather than buy from a distance such as on EBay.

I have had a look on various sites but cannot see what BMW shows there are for 2007.

Any ideas?

Hi John.

ebay has been a nail in the coffin of face-to-face sales for that sort of thing, but the little retailers are fighting back I reckon. They sell on ebay, AND attend the shows advertising to sell at 'less than ebay prices...'

There were three main BMW shows this year which are highly likely to continue next year:

The big BMWCC one which was at Gaydon in springtime, May I think.

BMW-only day at Santa Pod a couple of months ago, and

Bimmerfest at Donington a few weeks ago.

You'll find some of what you're looking for at any of those.
Do a search on here and visit the BMWCC website for more info.
